Dear Mike, Martin, Dusty & all the good folks at Palmer.
I want to thank you all very much for the fine job that you did on my roof. It takes a huge team effort to pull off a job like that and there are a few things that I would like to call out. You probably know all this already, but I would like you to know that this customer noticed the details:
On the first visit, Mike was thorough, patient with my questions, and up front about the fact that should I choose Palmer, I was buying the "high priced spread". He was clear that the job would be done "before the snow flies," which was bottom line. He noticed details that needed attention, like no roof vents and improper bathroom exhaust vents and offered sound suggestions about how those could be rectified during the roofing process.
On Mike's second visit, which took all of 3 minutes, he arrived with the proper roofing samples from which I could choose.
When the crew arrived on the appointment day, it was clear to me that they came prepared to do a job. Martin introduced himself and made sure that if I had questions along the way, he would be there to answer them.
The crew arrived with EVERYTHING they needed to get the job done well and efficiently. There was no need to run out and pick up forgotten pieces. All the equipment was appropriate to the job, in great running order and ready to go. Somebody had thought through the job from beginning to end.
The crew not only worked well together, they seemed to operate like a well-oiled machine, always anticipating where the next piece of the puzzle would go. It was almost as though every move during the process had been thoughtfully choreographed like a lovely ballet. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the work unfold.
When it was time to work, the crew worked hard. When it was time to rest a bit, there appeared to be a relaxed camaraderie among the men. It was very apparent to me that this team had worked together a lot and enjoyed each other's company.

I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the gist of what I'm trying to say. I know that I paid a premium for this roofing job, but definitely go what I paid for. And guess what...It's rained the last couple of days, and this house and barn are dry as a bone.
